Guitar (Hero II) god?

I’ll have a big post this weekend (hopefully), but while I was cruising teh internets, I ran across this young man rockin’ Guitar Hero II for the Xbox 360. The song is a My Chemical Romance song called Dead!.

BTW – The kid is only 8 and if you look closely at the end of the song, he’s playing it on Expert Mode! My jaw damn near hit the floor. Enjoy!

Quick Update

I’ve made a few site updates to the Utilities and Playlist pages.  They are far from complete, but at least I’ve got a start.  I’ll update more as soon as I can, but I have some house contruction to get hot on.

Changes, Changes, Changes

You may have noticed a few changes to the website.  I have the links to the utilities up on it’s own page again, so all of you who used those links have them again.  Let me know if you run across one that no longer works.

Another change is that you see my Xbox LIVE Gamercard complete with pathetic gamerscore.  My excuse is that I started playing 360 games late; I’m a die-hard PC Gamer.  But I ran across a little game called Crackdown that has me hooked.  I haven’t played an Xbox game that has latched on to me like Crackdown has; Including Halo.  For those of you who don’t know what Crackdown is, it’s a sandbox game much like Grand Theft Auto, but you are the good guys.  The gameplay is fantastic, the visuals are cool, and the achievements are fun and challenging.  If you don’t own an Xbox 360 but love the GTA series, buy an Xbox 360 and get Crackdown; you WON’T be disappointed.

I’ll have some more updates relatively soon, including links to the gallery, my playlist, the About page, and more.  I’ll also have a less pathetic Gamer Score by then (I hope).

Microsoft Announces Games for Windows LIVE

Not much time to comment on this right now, but you can check the press release at Gamerscore blog. Tycho over at Penny Arcade is suspicious, but I think, if implemented correctly, this will be a good thing for PC gamers. My son has a Gold LIVE account for his Xbox 360, so there really isn’t a compelling reason for ME to throw down $50 bones for another Gold membership. This might be the hook for me to upgrade from Silver to Gold. We’ll see.
